UNUNITED / UNITED

Teaching and Curating, 2023–2025

The two-part exhibition project unvereint / vereint by the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig was first presented on October 9, 2024, during Leipzig’s Festival of Lights commemorating the Peaceful Revolution of 1989, and continued at three locations in Chemnitz in 2025 as part of the European Capital of Culture year. The artistic works address processes of social transformation, cultures of remembrance, and the negotiation of collective identities and notions of “we”, relating these themes to historical, political, and urban contexts. The project was developed with students over the course of two semesters.
